Plot Outline: When Jason Bourne is framed for a botched CIA operation he is forced to take up his former life as a trained assassin to survive.
Plot: A crime/drama set in 1960 London, where a soon to retire janitor convinces a glass-ceiling constrained American executive to help him steal a handful of diamonds from their employer, the London Diamond Corporation.
Crazy Credits: We know about 3 Crazy Credits. One of them reads:
During the end credits the Marines are listed as Jarheads.
Goofs: We know about 4 goofs. Here comes one of them:
Anachronisms: Early in the film a worry over problems in “Botswana and South Africa” is stated in the dialog, but the film is set in 1960 when the country of Botswana was still British Bechuanaland (as correctly displayed later in the film on a large map of Africa); Botswana was not renamed until its independence in 1966.
Trivia: There are 20 entries in the trivia list – like these:
- The 14 November 2003 draft of the screenplay credits Brian Helgeland for a rewrite. He is not credited in the final film.
- The taxi that Bourne drives during the car chase is a Russian-made Volga 3110.
- When Bourne calls Pamela Landy from the rooftop, a voice is heard in her office saying that they “need 90 seconds to triangulate his position”. Bourne disconnects the call exactly 88 seconds later.
